Introduction to 3D Archery

Our Introduction to Field Archery shoot was a bit of a windswept event this year.

John set a 10 target course on our regular target range. John explained the rules of field archery and how to score the targets. New archers were paired with an experienced field archer allowing the rules to be explained and also pass on some of the tricks of the trade.

We introduced archers unfamiliar with Field Archery to some of the things that are a bit different to out normal target archery, namely that heckling is allowed on the field range.

The wind meant that even the experienced archers had to work very hard.
